The series that this is a re-skin of didn't interest me to begin with so why would assets from Skyward Sword & a girl Link make it interesting? This seems like a cash grab on the Zelda name when it's really just a different series re-skined to look like a Zelda game. This just buys Nintendo some time to work on the real Zelda which people wanted this year, but it isn't ready yet. To me Hyrule Warriors feels more like Links Crossbow training then a real Zelda.

and thats bad because of...

Because people wanted the real Zelda in 2014, but this pretty much shows it's not going to be out for another 23 months in November 2015.  The graphic engine & AI also make me question just how interestin Hyrule Warriors will be on a technical level.  There is also the danger of putting people off with an "Other Z" type game & creating a backlash that hurts the main brand.

Do you have any precedent for your asumptions or are just that?did Crossbow thingy hurt the brand even if it was the biggest cash in ever? Hell No.

People want Zelda now! but you cant do that. you cant give people what they want always because eventually they will get fed up . this is not fanservice. well it is actually!!!

and a cheap one i must say...but who cares! its a hackn slash on the Zelda universe and you control Link kicking asses left and right. AWE SOME!

Links Crossbow training was essentially a free game, it came with the Wii Zapper for $20, no one was posting on twitter "OMG, I'm going to buy a Wii for Crossbow Link!" people knew what it was, but people are saying that they are going to buy a Wii U for Hyrule Warriors because they think it's a real Zelda game.  This could be a big problem if the game isn't of high quality when it releases, like so many expect it to be.
