That might be the point but I can't believe people are falling for it so easily, I mean this is such a CoD fan mentality: "Look, last year we got CoD in I-have-no-idea-what-last-years-cod-was-about, but this year we get CoD with dogs, so that's totally different, I need to get this game"

I mean I'm not telling people to not get the game, but to just think about what they're hyping up here and maybe try a Dynasty Warriors game before making this into something special, I mean it's not even made by Nintendo.

What?  Really?  Do you really think people are buying CoD: Ghosts just because it has dogs?  That's your angle here?   People are buying CoD: Ghosts because they like CoD.

And this has no similarity to your theory anyway.   It's not like dog lovers suddenly bought CoD: Ghosts just because the series now has dogs.

Yeah, that point kinda went over your head, I could have probably worded that better. What I mean is that people buy into Cod hype again and again every year, even though the games hardly change and just get a new look (more or less)..... and now that I'm writing that again, I realize that that is not the best comparison to make

It's just that the reasons for the hype this game is getting right now, namely the world it's set in, are very weird to me.
