The only disappointing thing about games such as Sega Superstars Tennis, Topspin 3 and The Bigs is that they aren't built from the ground up for the Wii, rather, they are multiplatform games. Like all multiplatformers that come out for the Wii they are inevitably disappointing because for developers, the emphasis is usually on their HD conterparts.

Take Rockstar Table tennis for example which had a very cumbersome system, not fully comitting itself to motion functionality, owing to its dated control pad legacy. The Wii is unique and is thus not conducive to cross platform development. Imagine Wii Sports on Xbox or PS3, it would be awful. The same applies in the opposite direction IMO. Wait for Wii Sports 2, Deca Sports or Mario Tennis.

Good point, but if Top Spin is any good on the Wii, it's a lot more my style of game then all the others you mentioned. While I love the Wii controls, I am still on the fence when it comes to Nintendo's are direction. Although SMG is very very good.
