...i need a phone.  i like to game.  would be nice if i could be both in one.  i mean, there are games on the IOs app store but not the kind of game i want.  not the kind of input/controls i want.  if someone can find a good way to mash them together i'd probably buy.

Nintendo has no beef with Google/Android. They're not a OS/media company, they have no dog in that fight. Android can be customized to Nintendo's hearts content and they've worked with Google before actually. 

The Google Maps app for the Wii U was developed jointly by Nintendo and Google, Iwata had a Google higher up for Iwata Asks to talk about it.
