It's not $350. It's $299, has been for a while now. Dropping the price even lower right now would do more damage than good, as Nintendo were losing money on it when it was $350. Also, at $299 it includes bundled games. One could make the point PS4/X1 are $100/$200 more expensive and have no games to boot.

The Wii U couldn't even sell *half* of what the GameCube sold its second November.
This thing is a borderline disaster right now, if the price isn't cut soon there isn't going to be a "tomorrow" for it to worry about.
I think you are going to see a miserable Jan-March 2014 period for the Wii U sales wise too, even with DKC. Sales are going to drop back down to their usual 40-50k a month in the US and less than that in Japan and Europe.
Another price cut IMO is coming in April with Mario Kart.

with ps4 and xbone out, i expect the drop to be from 20-35k

I was being generous, but yes I could see it in that range.
November - 220k
December - 380k
January - 30k
Would be my guesses for Dec/Jan.
