That's a very narrow minded opinion.

I'm not very fond of JRPGs and most of RPGs but I wouldn't want them to wane.

That's fine and dandy but our obsession with FPSs is hurting other genres, in my opinion. The less FPSs we see in the coming years, at least only for a few years, the better. FPSs rose to the top because of the very violent culture currently running amock in north america (and arguably the world)

I don't want FPSs to dissapear forever, I just want a break from them being shoved down our throats.
