I bet there is!!! Here is my prediction on the subject.
Gen 1 starters (XY)
Gen 2 starters (Z) Its hinted that Z will be in another region right next to Kalos! If true i can see how they did with Kanto pokemon but instead with Johto pokemon!
Gen 3 starters (R/S remakes)
