And indeed we will keep an eye for how things pan out for the rest of the year and beyond. We know we need to keep a watch on it. You can be damn certain the negative fanboys will be. But why in the world is it wrong to make note of the fact that Wii U was 8 weeks ago selling between 3k and 5k and after some good bundles, a few games and the beginning of the holiday period that it's had a nice progression from abysmal to respectable? Nobody is breaking out the champaign claiming the Wii U is now a success. It's merely an observation of the current trend of the past 8 weeks. And the trend is very positive. What arbitrary point must be passed before an observational trend can be commented upon? Must we ignore all positive aspects (sales increases, proportionality of total home console sales, rate of increase by comparison, etc...) until that arbitrary time frame? And what then? Say it maintains until that arbitrary limit. Will a new arbitrary limit be demanded? Must we wait until then for some other confirmation of positve trends? Negative Wii U threads are thrown around mutliple times every day but as soon as a positive Wii U thread is made, suddenly, it has requirements and conditions and isn't worthy of note by many of those very same people that toss out the negative threads while claiming their just being real. I'm tired of negative fanboys shitting all over the streets of Wii U every day and then raining on the Wii U parade when it comes around once every few months. |
I didn't say it was wrong. I just said it was too early to celebrate, I didn't throw a party when the Vita jumped to 80k for one week.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
