I think it's more to do with the fact that people thought this was going to be a huge system seller for the WiiU. Which it wasn't, the hardware bump has been minuscule for such a critically acclaimed title. It should have moved a lot more WiiUs, but now we're hearing reports about how the system only did 150k this month in the US. Of course that's just a prediction, so take it with a grain of salt.

wrong, especially for a title that will keep respectable weekly numbers for years to come.

An 18k bump in the US and a 5k bump in Japan. You actually think those are good numbers? One of Nintendo's biggest franchises can't move more than 23k units.

Mario's Job is to maintain respectable sales through out the entire year not sell a huge amount on launch, that is a job that Zelda handles way better

bet with ash3336 he wins if Super Mario 3D World sells less than Mario Sunshine during the first three years, I win if 3D World outsells Sunshine's first 3 years. Loser get sig controlled for 3 months (punishment might change)

Do you doubt the WiiU? Do you believe that it won't match the GC?

Then come and accept this bet
