On average yes it is. France, Germany and Spain really love Nintendo handhelds! Holidays though tend to be much more important to the US and you can see how huge BF's influence is on console sales. It's sold around 20-25% of it's annual sales just that week.

Yeah, holidays are really important to Nintendo - and maybe more so in the States, I've come to understand. BF is a HUGE deal over there.
