Did George W. Bush set back white people? It's a racist premise honestly that you're presenting, that black people somehow have to be represented entirely by one person to begin with. I'm a white person and even I can say that, lol.
I don't even think Obama is doing that bad of a job, the economy is turning around no matter how the pundits want to spin it from a monumental collapse that occurred before his presidency, the US mainland has enjoyed relative safety, he got bin Laden, we are no longer stuck in Iraq, and the US is even beginning to broker peace with Iran.
There have been worse presidents and certainly he has had to govern in an extremely difficult economic situation. The big blight on his presidency for me is the NSA stuff, but if they can make progress on that with the bigs at Apple, Google, MS, etc. pushing for it, that will be a good thing.
