As an owner of a handheld I can respect the big N's foothold in the handheld gaming department, so taking Nintendo out seems like a pipe dream. But As a PsP, PspGo and now a Vita owner, I don't want to see Nintendo as the only handheld manufacturer in the business. Its not good for the handheld handheld market. Their handheld is not for me. Their main games, the Mario's, Kirby's, Zelda's, Donkey Kong, its just not my thing.I really love what Sony brings to the table game and genre wise.

So yeh, Nintendo can have the large share of the pie, as long as there is another that I can chose from, i'm good.

Lets not forget that the Psp sold over 80 Million units, that's not too shabby for the OTHER guy.

Yep, I agree with you. Nintendo might have big market share but they can't give use the games what we get on Vita Like Indies, console quality game worlds, Sony IP's etc., on the go.  Nintendo games are good for fun for long hours but i like more new short experiences and adventures as I have life and wouldn't want to spend most of the time just playing the games which expects to grind because time is precious and its worth more in real life than spending time on games like RPG which most people do.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
