I think a remake should be a complete overhaul of the original. I don't think an HD upgrade, a few new items, and an extra difficulty mode should count. 

There is far more changed than you think (I get it you haven´t played it )

The grand majority of textures was redone, they threw the old lighting system out the window... they changed more than any other HD remake I could think of.

 

Again, it isn´t a full on Remake, but calling it a port is doing it a disservice.

Once again, a graphical upgrade isn't enough for me to consider it a remake. No I haven't played it, I've played the original and have no interest in shelling out $300 to play it again. I guess we should just agree to disagree since it's clear we define a remake on different terms.
