Didn't wanted to comment on this thread early because then i'll keep getting the urge to read more of the idiotic comments. The Donkey Kong announcement was considered by worst possible scenario by Nintendo fans and even worse by Sonysoft gamers.
On the contrary, it was one of the best showings any game had on the travesty of a web show. I didn't even realize that they couldn't get enough ratings to air on a 3rd rate channel such as Spike Tv and ended up hiring a host that was more disinterested in the whole thing more than all of us combined.
You bet i would be up in arms and making threads like Curl 6 and Super Chunkyman, if they wasted a big reveal like next Zelda on this pile of mediocrity that was VGX. So thank god for Nintendo's incompetence in understanding hard core gamers who couldn't collectively get together to give the show enough ratings over the years.
