terrible, uninspired display by Nintendo, but on the otherhand, they were merely part of a much larger show that was even more terrible and uninspired, so you can't fault them too much. Why do you think Cranky Kong is what is being most talked about? Because that was ACTUALLY the most interesting thing they showed on this poor excuse for a video game award show, and THAT is extremely sad for the industry.

Even Joel McCale just seemed completely uninterested and making fun of everything there every time he got the chance.

The real question shouldn't be what was Nintendo thinking, but rather, what the hell was Spike TV/games industry thinking, by airing this garbage? I tried to watch it twice and litterally had to shut it off both times, because of the stupidity and boring shit throughout.
