Look at the drought in the first half of 2013.

When you make that any mistakes you'd think they'd learn something. Sigh, can't wait to play another platformer on WiiU. I didn't get enough with New Super Mario Bros U, Super Luigi U, Super Mario 3D Land, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World, etc.

Two are 2d platformers and other two are 3d platforms. (One is DLC)

I thought plenty about what I was saying. 2D and 3D platformers are different yes, but they're still platformers. The point I was making is that the WiiU needs more variety in it's lineup. Especially since it's desperately trying to shed the "kiddie" image it's been branded with. A darker Zelda or Metroid would have been perfect to get the hardcore audience back. I really don't see what Donkey Kong could do with the WiiU.
