He won't buy his DAUGHTER the console. It doesn't have to relate to his taste or opinion. He can have his opinion or taste, but if his DAUGHTER likes Nintendo games then why should she not be able to get a Wii-U? Because he hates it? He can hate it all he wants. I strongly dislike MLP, but if I had a daughter and she liked it I wouldn't refuse to buy her a MLP toy because of that. 

After reading this it just made me realize how much of a loser Rubin is even more.   He's just trying to be mr. macho and is one of those guys that thinks of you play Nintendo you are immature and it is inferior.  These are the same guys that later on go buy a Nintendo because their families are sick and tired of watching him play shooters and heavy stuff, and then end up praising Nintendo for their quality.    If you dont like Nintendo because Mario and Zelda just dont appeal to you, thats cool, but if its just because of the hardware then you are a loser.   I dont own one, but if you really just care about graphics, just build a PC.
