What luxury is that you're speaking off. Back in my day we used a hex editor on save games, or alter active memory with an Action Replay cartridge.
There are save game editors for GT5, it's only a matter of time before they're available for GT6 too. Buying in game credits does not make sense.

Agreed. Hopefully that happens and they make no money from the microtransactions.
