I'm glad you did that math, now I did some of my own and I'll tell you that the original 13 countries that Xbox One and PS4 are launching in account for 1,029,294,316 customers.  Therefore one console sold 1.2 million to 1 billion customers while the other sold 2.1 million to 1.25 billion customers.  Now you can start to see how just going by the number of regions as a straight ratio is completely meaningless.  One has a ratio of about 1.2 per thousands possible customers (Xbone) while the other has a ratio of about 1.68 per thousand possible customers (PS4).  This isn't a partisan thing, it's just a math thing.

So your comparing PS4's almost 1 month sales total to Xbox one's first 48hrs?

You're correct, I did not factor in time since I was solely trying to show you that launching in a third of the regions is not the same as launching to a third of the customer base which is the actual important quality not how many randomly sized geographical regions each console launches in.  I'm not trying to take away credit from XBone, I'm trying to show you that your math and reasoning in this specific instance sucks.  Taking time into the play would obviously then change things, but it was not important for what I was trying to argue.
