Should it really be that easy to walk into a store and buy a X1 at this point? I know this is just anecdotal but I'm really starting to believe that the X1 will not sell as much in Europe as MS could provide. |
Yes, it is antedotal, but I've seen more evidence of Xbox One's being in stock than PS4's (if any). If nothing else when I first joined this site, I posted pics of stacks of Kinect for the Xbox 360 available in stores shortly after release which really ruffled the feathers of Xbox fanatics. Of course shortly thereafter Kinect became a success, but further down the line it was NOT enough to combat the greater PS3 sales worldwide as last gen continued on. But to see the Xbox One relatively available in stores now implies that sales of the console might slow down quicker than the PS4. We'll just have to see how things play out further, but this is the trend I see that's going to play out unless Microsoft does something drastic and fast.
