I thought it would have been more too but then again Sony had to send some stock to the US for Black Friday. What I get from those numbers is that Sony focused a lot more in US and UK, 1 millions in US, 250K in UK, that leaves about 850K in the rest of the world. It's like they shipped in 2 countries more than 60% of their stock. I think it's a good strategic since MS seems to have done the same.

US and Uk were their worst markets last gen.

They smashed the enemy on their own ground, rest of the world is theirs.  Hell of a risk they took but worked out brilliant.
