Oh, I agree. I've already discussed with you my irritation at VGC including download cards for Wii Party U in Japan but not in the case of other games. And I think we need a whole separate explanation about how VGC is going to handle digital tracking going forward.
It's just, in the here and now, we're given a good source of how software sales are in UK/Germany and they're actively ignored. And for all that VGC's tracking is off, as a measure of historic sales figures it tends to hold up a little better once the dust has settled and they've had chance to make adjustments to correct figures.
But if they're getting it wrong straight off the bat despite the fact that we're given the ranking + estimates to help fill in the numbers, then that doesn't bode well for "down the line" numbers.
