Splitting their fans among several consoles will only be a disservice towards their fans. I would, however, prefer if Nintendo and Sega went FIRST-party, and became part of one console developer. Then they can get the most out of their talents and and also not split the fanbase. |
The problem is Nintendo have always made better games than SEGA so hellz no. I really really miss old school Phantasy Star though.

Well, that´s a whole other debate, but you are dead wrong (just look at how long us fans kept the Dreamcast afloat AFTER its discontinuation). Besides, what does that have to do with this issue?

Yeah it's pretty cool since I'm still checking out the Indie games for my DC haha.
Anyways, I'm reading your post as: They can shift people inbetween SEGA and Nintendo around within the companies, and I say, don't, because don't fix what isn't broken, SEGA will drag down Nintendo's quality.

Ah, no, that was not what I meant :). Nintendo and Sega should remain as they are, separate from each other. I would, however, prefer if Nintendo went firstparty with Sony and Sega with MS for example, which would strengthen the library of their respective consoles and maintain a strong competition.
