The Wii had a shit ton of support but no one respected the hardware. They thought it was cheap last gen tech and dove in for a quick profitable buck. He who has the third parties wins if you have their prime franchises. Nintendo never properly prepared anyone for the Wii U outside of their own company and first party developers.
