^ @ both of you: the fact you are not interested anymore is ok and everyone should respect that. But don't say that people that do enjoy many things that date for years back have not grown up. I myself love swimming as much as I did when I was five, but that did not prevent me from getting a Masters degree and to be on the way I am to finish a PhD.

I never said that.

Just to be clear, I also like some things from my childhood, just the not type of games I used to play.

I still eat coco pops or nesquick cerial every now and then =)

I have taken this from the first post you wrote:

Maybe thats the problem. Nintendo are hoping just because people grew up with their games they will keep buying them for the rest of their lives.

There are some people that carry on doing what they used to do when they were 8 years old, but most people change.

I don't want to be a pain in the arse and you seem to be a nice folk. Sorry, then, if I insist on my point, but can you see how your argument has turned against you? If you yourself keep on doing things that you used to like growing old (as you have just admitted to do), then you are automatically excluded from the group of the "most people" you have affirmed that change. Thus, you have not grown up, just like everyone of us who llike Nintendo.

Generalization is a dangerous thing and can even be offensive.
