I think one thing that no one seems to be taking into account here - perhaps PS4 has less stock on shelves because it still has to service the massive number of pre-orders that it has. Why do people seem to think that Sony can ship consoles to them and put tons of consoles of shelves.
So stock may well be coming in, and then going straight back out to those pre-order people... with only a small component of that being on shelf. I mean in the UK it's unlikely that you can get a console before Xmas if you pre-ordered after August (or something like that).
But that is only a guess... but it seems like a reasonable guess...
But then that would also make me question XboxOne pre-orders...
All very confusing.
