It's actually not bad. If you assume that every retailer sold 2+ wiiUs, it could actually have a 100k+ week in the US alone which is very good for the wiiU.

I just got home from working at Best Buy and while we sold about 5-8 Wii Us (Including mine,yay!) it didn't even come close to the demand for 360 or ps3. Part of it was due to not having a very attractive bundle like the PS3/360 had (PS3 Batman/Last of Us bundle sold out) but people just sort of ignored it :/ We tried though, anyone who went for the Wii Mini we made sure that they knew about the Wii U and we even made a stack of them right in between the PS3 and 360 stacks so every who got one of those saw it.
Anyways i'm happy I got mine, right now I'm going through the updates... slowly lol.

Wow, that is relatively a lot of wiiU's. Maybe wiiU could sell 150k+ in the US next vgchartz week? :D
Edit: Congratz on your wiiU! I really hope you bought SM3DW with it, it is definetly the best game on the system.

Yup I got SM3DW but now I need to find a copy of Monster Hunter! Also are there any JRPG's besides Earthbound out yet for Wii U or is X going to be one of the first?

I don't really follow much the releases for the Virtual console. But as of now, there hasn't been any retail jrpg releases unfortunetly. However, it's safe to say that X is going to be amazing. Also, you should definetly consider Wonderful101, it's another amazing game on the wiiU.
