Not me, but my brother. To those saying no to medication, it really has to be on a case by case basis and certainly they can be overprescribed. The medications prescribed aren't typically sedatives, they generally work by decreasing anxiety.

My brother was started on meds as a child, perhaps a little more severely affected than some of the other folks here and it helped him cope with a mainstream school system that he was forced into (he was in a special school until the end of primary) It helped him curb his obsessive behaviors and stopped him getting overwhelmed so easily. He's been trialled off his meds on two occasions as an adult, on both occasions he's opted to start them again himself.
