I think we should just have games like Candy Crush and then games like Ikaruga. I don't like the idea of dumbing someones game down.

Games have to be more practical unlike art though, if people don't can't get into the game because of the learning curve then ultimately it hurts gaming as a whole as it turns people away

But if there's Mario 3D World, Candy Crush and Knack...then those people won't walk away. I'm talking about the idea of making games like Super Meat Boy easy for the sake of people who aren't good at games. I don't believe in that. I believe there should be games for gamers like us, who have been playing games forever and then other games for people without much skill.
I don't want ALL games to be easy because if you do that, you lose the most loyal, undying people you have which are core gamers.
