Wii U doesn't have the insurmountable problems DC faced, like crippling piracy, and unlike Sega, Nintendo has some of the strongest IPs in the industry.

I hope they don t go that route but with all the negativity around its hard to see a future for the Wii U. Besides it even sold less than the Dreamcast in certain weeks, the Wii U isn t getting better it just keeps getting worse.

I'd wait until January before making judgement calls about its future. Sales have picked up some, the holiday is coming, and 3D World is getting a lot of  praise.

Sure, it seems depressing now, but so did PS3 and 3DS in their early days. I remember people predicting the PS3's discontinuation by 2009.
