Makes me think of "tree falls in the forest and no one is around" question. If someone cheats or short cuts in a single player game and you never know how does it affect you?

I think every game should start with "How often do you play games?" prompt and you select.

1. I am new or confused by games; or just want to watch the story (Very Easy)
2. I am learning, but I still have issues (Easy)
3. I am competent at game (Normal)
4. I am well versed and skilled (Hard)
5. I am someone who enjoys a challenge (Very Hard)
6. I am a masochist (Nightmare or Dante Must Die or Whatever)

Along with regular difficulty aspects this could have or remove all prompts and tutorials so gamers get that old school feel. Gaming, to me, should be inclusive to all type of gamers in regards to familiarity and skill level.

I disagree. As an artist, my job is not to cater to people but to create what I want and make sure my vision, whatever it is, is as realized as humanly possible. If I want to make a game for the elite, top skilled player? I should be able to do that and not have to code baby mode in.

I think we should just have games like Candy Crush and then games like Ikaruga. I don't like the idea of dumbing someones game down.
