Just to note that Sony may have 30% of the hardware (handheld) market - but what about software? That is where the real money is made anyway...
In Japan, its currently 69m:11m - a solid 6.4:1 ratio.
Or in other words, PSP has (had) 13.5% of the software market - NDS a measely 86%.
(of course if you base this on the "current" software trends - last week it was closer to 10:1 (or the PSP owning approx 9% of the current handheld, software market).

Worldwide its roughly(*) 95m:16m, or 6:1 (ratio seems about right).
Which is pretty close to the Japan, sale-to-date ratios (14% PSP, 86% NDS). This is ignoring the GBA of course - listed at 131m.
(* - got these figures by using this page , selecting a console and using the software totals at the bottom of the page. Not accurate, but presuming that the same inaccuracies apply to both the DS & PSP...).
