Your right. But DF make it clear the other towers are not as tall. This is a great victory for Microsoft in the console graphics war. Because we all know Guirella Games is great at visuals. And on what many are touting as easier to develop for than Xbox One and much more powerful hardware the Xbox One comes out at launch with the most graphically intensive and impressive game. Its not like one of Sonys lesser graphical studios went up against Ryse. This was Killzone. And yet it didnt accomplish its task. All of a sudden the harder to develop for Xbox One ( all 3rd party devs have said its harder ) comes out with the best graphics at launch. I said originally its not all about raw numbers. Its also about design choices. And the setup in Xbox One has things PS4 doesnt. equalling them out much more. Oh and of course Crytek show whos boss at visuals once again. |
I disagree, they haven't surveyed the tower...
It's not that much of a victory, Naughty Dog will show them who's boss in a year. I also thought the whole arguement about Halo was that since it was open, it couldn't compete with more linear games graphically? Here we have the more open Killzone vs the strictly linear Ryse and it is a very close fight, but Killzone runs at 30+fps (reportedly) at 1080p and Ryse runs at 30-fps at 900p.
It is definitely not a great victory
