Nintendo about to rock the boat on December 7th?

I'm really curious about this FPS rumor for the new Nintendo IP. I haven't been into FPS games hardcore since Halo 3 (got burnt out and I'm sick of all the mindless killing). If they reinvented it I'd be really interested.
