Never mind for a moment that we are talking about single day sales for a Nintendo console game in Japan but in what universe would another 3D Mario and Metroid (?) be a reasonable solution?
Both Galaxy 1 and 2 only averaged a million each in Japan on an installed base that was orders of magnitude larger and furthermore Galaxy 1's first week sales were only about 20% of total sales. Let's wait and see.
