I need to get myself a new iPad or iPad mini soonish to at least run the latest stuff like Oceanhorn, etc... but been thinking lately to get an android tablet for navigational purposes and uses of standards such as Miracast (which my TV already supports). Still Google play games selection lags wrt to the App Store, getting better though.
