You do when the 7th gen systems were designed to prioritise power above all else, while the 8th gen system prioritises backwards compatibility, small size, low electricity consumption, reliability, and affordability over horsepower. The days of gens being defined by distinct power gaps ended with DS/PSP and Wii/360/PS3.
