Yes. Obviously, No one is buying the ps4 for their launch exclusives - I am a ps fan myself and I have no interest in KZ and little interest in Knack (or even DriveClub). But as we know, launch IPs dont tell the full story and Im sure this wont have as huge a bearing on the sales of the PS4 post holiday, compared with the sales of the Wii U.

How many people bought WiiU's for the launch line up? I would guess not many, I would guess many bought them for the games Nintendo have spent the last year dangling in front of their faces like the proverbial carrot.

Its going to be interesting to see how the xbox one launch effects the sales of mario and zelda, or conversely, how mario and zelda effect the sales of xbox one, if at all.

I thought a reasonable people did buy the console for the likes of the Mario Wii U game, Nintendoland, Zombie U. Though They may have also been waiting for other games that got delayed like Pikmin, Rayman. Correct me if I am wrong.

The point is this, imo a greater proportion of the wii u owner  are nintendo fans, than the proportion of ps4 owners are sony fans. We will see if this is true of course and how much ps4 (and x1 support flags early next year.

Asfor the x1 sales, would sales of mario and zelda affect the sales of x1? How significant has this been in the past?
