 that wasn't the point of the article, the point was that 3rd party shovelware isn't nessicarily a problem and it is because of major third parties dragging their heels that it exists basically,

it went on to state that this stuff has existed in Japan and Europe forever and it hasn't killed either market 

it also stated that the possibility exist that one of these budget games might actually be a good game and turn in to a hit, (remember smash bros began as a budget game)
