The problem is you can't.  Go buy some Canadian versions of US food on ebay or something and taste the difference.  The problem is due to food portions and lack of excercise not some fats in the food.

I wouldn't say making food healthier can't help a little, but you are right that portion control and exercise is more important.  That being said, we're allowed to smoke and eat a bunch of things that are never good for us in any dose.  If they've linked a certain thing to heart disease across the board, getting rid of it is a good idea in my opinion. 

Also, I guarantee that if McDonalds is forced to use different methods, they will still produce a food that people think is very tasty. 


Mcdonalds hasn't used trans fat for 5 years...
