It did do better, i think around a million more possibly 1.5mil! I compared 2012 only cuz that year had more sales than 2011 and comparing it with 2013 while 2013 is an extra several hundred thousand ahead! So if 2013 stays ahead it'll be  YoY!

Thing is I feel it will do better than 2011 so let's see where it's at! I remember the 3DS had a horrid holiday season by its standards last year. Particularly had a horrible November (and Black Friday) in America. It should kill last year's numbers which were barely 250k for BF weekend (even the DS did better). 

If 2013 does the same as 2012 holiday then we will have 15mil this year, even if its overtracked here 2013 is YoY by i think 600k-700k. This holiday season if all goes well, itcan be anywhere between 16mil-19mil sales!
