Not really. Porting likely doesn't cost much.

it never does, until we talk about MH.

Who says MH would cost much to port? MH3 has been ported from Wii to 3DS to Wii U. Frontier was ported from PC to 360, and later this year Wii U and PS3.

MH's been ported to hell and back.
