250 friends is not enough, and I've just started to update it again sending bulletins etc, however I advertised that if you sign up you score a bonus 1,000 VG$, though unfortunately they'll be disappointed when they find they can't do anything with it.
I tried to update the sales numbers but ioi has not updated the code for it on this site, it's still got Wii at 19 million and so on, so ioi if you're reading this, that's something you could look at.
It's not the most effective way to get new users to this site though many lurkers have added the VGC Myspace which is a good thing.
If you have a Myspace, add VGC, then if you like, post bulletins, linking to the VGC myspace, where they can find links to sign up or at least visit.
