The DLC pack costs $1.99 and adds four stages to the challenge mode type called “Battle Enemies!” Similar to the last content pack for PIkmin 3, the stages are based on locations from Story Mode, can be played cooperatively or solo, and include support fo online leaderboards. One of the maps is free via an automatic software update.
IGN reviewed Pikmin 3 back in July. Nintendo producer Shigeru Miyamoto initially teased the possibility of DLC back in July, short before the US release of Pikmin 3. The first content pack, called ‘Collect Treasure!” was released in early October.
