German etailer complains about low Xbox One supply, Sony delivers 450x more PS4s

Welcome to the internet. A small retailer with one (1  !!!!) retail shop writes a newsletter and everybody starts to go mad about it.

14000 is natürlich Blödsinn, aber was glaubst du denn wieviele X1s realistisch in 35 sekunden bestellt wurden? 5 bis 10? Selbst dann kommen wir noch auf weit über 1000 PS4s.

It's really strange to see this "450times" quote. All I know at this time is:

a) Any MediaMarkt > Spielegrotte

b) From the numbers I know, several Mediamarkts get between 25 and 80 PS4s for Opening Day (week?). It is not clear whether that includes the Mediamarkts that acceped preorders (hence having to give those shipments to preorders) or if these are additional units to the preordered ones.

In any case, essentially a MomAndPop shop like Spielegrotte would in no way get the number of PS4s they claim to get.

Yeah, numbers are probably exaggerated. People should just ignore the "35 seconds" and "450 times more PS4s" parts and not make this out to be a huge thing. It's one small retailer not getting as many X1s as he would like to sell, nothing more nothing less.
