People ask me all the time, "Hey 'Beast, what's your opinion on the video game sales already?". I have let you wait for a long time, I know. Sorry 'bout that.

Before I start, let me sum up my feelings on the topic in just one word: Wii

Ok, let's start:

X360 - Yeah, the X360 is a big positive surprise so far. I really thought it would only be able to keep sales around 400,000 consoles per month at this time of year, which is very slow as you all know. But even though it has only had a $50 price drop in it's life of 2.5 years, and has to compete against a PS3 with momentum,  the X360 still manages to sell far more than I expected. Actually, it's on par with my prediction of selling +10 million consoles this year.

The PS3 - This console is in competition with the X360. It had a tough time last year, but after the victory of Blu-ray it really took off. Now it's clearly ahead of it's rival in OTHERS. I can confidently say that the PS3 has built up some momentum.

The Wii - Geez, what can I say? It's just amazing. I'm lost for words. Phew. The Wii.. it's a Behemoth! A Monster. Some people just until recently kept saying the Wii is just a FAD, and that it wouldn't be able to get 50% marketshare and such nonsens. Well, the facts proved otherwise. I just love how the Wii teached a lesson for everyone - never underesitimate Nintendo and the people's love for Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda! I'm so impressed by the Wii. The Wii breaks so many boundaries, it reaches so many new people that never tried a console. Gj Nintendo.

Anyway, that's all for now. Hope you all liked this,. Btw, did I tell you how much I love and respect the Wii?

Oh, one more thing.

Can I be a mod now?
