To use a baseball analogy, Nintendo is a single hitter who occasionally finds a nut and hits a home run. Microsoft / Sony are homerun hitters who swing for the fences and either strike out or hit homeruns but even when they fail they can usually bring home some RBI's. Two different approaches. |
Funny. I like the analogy. But if RBIs are profits, I think Nintendo is the one who brings some runners home almost every time they step up to the plate.

I guess perhaps a better analogy would be (Since Sony doesn't really strike out) Sony/MS are the two companies that can 'fill the bases' or hit home runs. However, Nintendo consistently hits singles and brings in RBI's.

Now, the most important question... are they all on the same team?
