Microsoft published Mass Effect, didn't stop it getting to PS3 eventually. Not saying the same thing will happen to Bayonetta 2, but just naming the publisher and saying that's the end of the story is not necessarily the end of the story.

What other game published by Nintendo has made it elsewhere?  There might be one, but I can't think of it.

Besides, this is a very different situation than Mass Effect.  Platinum is an independant developer that partnered with Nintendo to make the game.  It would not exist without Nintendo.  BioWare is owned by EA, who likes to port their games to everything that isn't a Nintendo platform.
