For all the people who think it's cool there are just as many, if not more who think it is terrible and unprofessional.

 

This is the same guy who got angry because someone asked what his favorite game as a kid was. He expects people to read his entire log to make sure something wasn't asked already.

He is a jerk.

He can be, but many of us love that about him, that's his signature style.

And frankly, risking coming off as a jerk myself here, I'd say anyone still asking after a year deserves it.
