Nintendo worried about how they can make WiiU a success, not a successor to the WiiU.
WiiU can handle 1080p HD graphic..... that's all they need to compete with current Gen. Will games on WiiU look better then Xbox One and PS4.... No.
But the graphic gap is much closer than it was between the Wii vs PS3/Xbox 360. Cost of Creating AAA game is on the rise, I think when this new generation of consoles final hit its stride you'll see that many Developers will flock back to the WiiU were the cost of development of new IP is smaller or support the system with cheap port that will be sold with a 10$ discount.
When you put so much importance on graphical output like PS4 and Xbox One, 3rd Party developers that don't can't match the AAA in graphic will have to use other means suchs as Tablets, Smartphone and WiiU.
The future of the WiiU looks bright, I'd be suprise if they can reproduce the Wii sucess but they will sell well over 50 million units of the WiiU. Beside, the WiiU still as the price advantage over their competitior and will be the first console to hit the magical price tag of $200-250 were you can really tap in the casual market.
So please stop starting thread about WiiU Succesor or WiiU bundle without a gamepad, it's just not going to happen any time soon.
